“ My husband set up a date night for us and decided to try somewhere new (to us). So glad he chose Stoney's! I usually only get my oyster "fix" when we visit the beach because they just never taste the same in local settings. Well, Stoney's has proven me wrong! I went out on a limb and tried their MD, VA, and CT oyster selection. MD was my favorite but they were all fantastic. Here's the list of other menu items we tried: Campfire Old Fashioned, Stoney's Old Fashioned, Oaxaca Old Fashioned, crab pizza, lobster roll, and sirloin Imperial. We enjoyed everything, but our favorites (besides the oysters for me!) were the lobster roll and sirloin. Hands down the best lobster roll we've ever had! I asked for a rare temp on the sirloin. I was prepared to be disappointed because I've never actually received a cool, red center in a restaurant. I wasn't! It came out perfectly cooked and had a delicious flavor even without the shrimp and crab. As an FYI, the crab pizza is more like deconstructed crab dip on a thin cracker. We weren't expecting it since it's called "pizza" but it did have great flavor and crunch. We'll definitely be back for 1 oyster night as well as to try the other cocktails and menu items! ”
“ My wife and I had a wonderful dinner and drinks during a weekend visit to WV for a Memorial Service. We had a bit of a” fly by” with the server ( nothing to do with the food... which was ) Following a review which highlighted the food but pointed out a pricing issue... I received a personal phone call from the OWNER who wanted to make things right!!! So here is a restaurant that has amazing food, a real downtown vibe, great local music and top shelf drinks and now... an owner that wants EVERY customer to have a memorable experience... We are 250 miles away ... but Stoneys is on top of list for our next visit. Better oysters than our Maine trip, great martinis... and easy parking!!! A Martinsburg HOME RUN ”

“ Stumbled upon this spot with my girlfriend. Food was great. Owners Nicky and Jamie were incredibly friendly and generous. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for some whiskey, a classic cocktail, oysters, or a steak. ”
“ My husband & I decided to try this place as a new spot to celebrate our anniversary and let me tell you, we will be back again! For starters the service was outstanding! Jamie( the owner) greeted us as soon as we walked in. Then we had Ritchie & Liz serving us. Everyone was so knowledgeable and attentive. For drinks I had the “Smokey old fashioned”- delicious! My husband had a nice draft beer. We had the pimento cheese dip, jumbo shrimp cocktail and oysters as appetizer. Then for entree we had veggie pesto chicken and my husband had crab crake- all delicious! Of course we had to try the homemade pumpkin cheesecake too - AMAZING( you must get this)! Again we will certainly be back- outstanding service, delicious food( we tried an assortment as listed above) and great ambiance. It was cozy, welcoming and very reasonably priced given the quality of everything. Thanks so much to everyone at Stoney Whiskey for such an enjoyable dining experience. “ Great service and the food was delicious! The presentation of all the dishes at our table (only mine pictured here) was really nice. Everyone in our group really enjoyed their food! The lobster bisque was one of the best I have ever had. Definitely pricer place to eat but worth it. Our server was also such a sweetheart and accommodating to our groups needs and request. ”
